Works at: University of California Santa Barbara Research in the South Pacific: I am a graduate student with Jim Childress. I will be studying the thermal capabilities of animals that live at hydrothermal sites in the Lau Basin. Bio snippet: My lab group was featured in the James Cameron IMAX film Aliens of the Deep. I did the opening and closing narration for the film. I am also the first African American female to dive in the Russian Mir submersibles. | |
