Works at: Just about to start at University of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada

Research in the South Pacific: I will be working with Jim Childress and his group studying the thermal physiology and molecular biology of the unique marine invertebrates found at the Lau vent sites. This is my first cruise and I am very excited about the fascinating deep sea creatures that I will see and the ones I will get to know on board!

Bio snippet: When I get back to Santa Barbara in July I will be making a journey half-way across the continent to take up a new job in Regina, Saskatchewan.
